Young Dirty Bastard Stars in the New ’90s-Inspired HUF x Starter Collaboration

Starter jackets were the thing to cop when it came to ’90s apparel, and now skate-geared imprint HUF is paying homage to the stylish streetwear staple with a new collaboration available today.

In addition to a standout co-branded Satin Jacket, there’s also a few other gems in the mix as well, including a Breakaway Anorak, baseball jerseys, tracksuits, hoodies and classic tees for everyday wear. Of course, the real eye-grabber in this particular instance isn’t what’s being worn exactly, but who’s wearing it — departed Wu-Tang Clan member Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son, Young Dirty Bastard, is the star of this lookbook. The offspring of the crew’s most eclectic member, who happens to be an aspiring MC himself, dons his pop’s signature hairstyle to really drive home the ’90s influence that Wu-Tang helped to inspire without a question. After the last time we saw him in-person, hitting the stage on what would’ve been his dad’s 50th birthday back in November, we’re glad the YDB is keeping it raw for the sake of his family legacy.

The new HUF x Starter collaboration for 2019 is available right now at HUF stores, select retailers and online. See the full L.A.-shot lookbook below:
