Travis Scott has been experiencing some good sneaker moments lately as an official member of Team Nike, from dropping his own Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 4 colorways to even having The Shoe Surgeon recently customize the latter in a premium “Cactus Jack”-themed colorway. The rapper’s latest Swoosh delivery appears to be a new iteration of the Air Jordan 33, the latest model in Michael Jordan’s iconic signature series.
Possibly following a cactus-colored theme to represent the ASTROWORLD MC’s self-started record label, this AJ33 utilizes “Army Olive” on the base, paired together with neon yellow accents, black paneling and a suede heel counter that’s described as “Ale Brown.” The performance specs are in place of course — the FastFit outsole is a standout feature — but more people will mainly be copping these for the special design details, like the “Cactus Jack” crossword logo etched on the tongue.
Will keep you updated as more info and official imagery arrives for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 33 NRG, which is expected to hit retailers on January 27. Peep the preview below:
