Following in the footsteps of fellow Latin pop star Jennifer Lopez, Colombian singing sensation J Balvin is partnering up with GUESS for a new capsule collection in honor of his chart-topping album Vibras.
Marking the brand’s first-ever celebrity campaign to feature a male of Latin descent as the face, this 42-piece collection is fully inspired by the hit album that gave us the worldwide smash “Mi Gente” — the Beyoncé-assisted remix of course took the song to even greater heights — which eventually made Balvin the most streamed artist on Spotify back in June 2018 and fourth overall by the end of that year. The set features apparel for men and women alike, like T-shirts, denim offerings, shorts, tracksuits and beachwear to reflect the permanent vacation lifestyle of Miami where the lookbook was shot. Floral prints, tie-dye and ’90s-inspired color blocking are the core color palettes used throughout, making for a extra vibrant collab that properly shows off the spiciness of Latin culture to a literal tee.
Check for J Balvin’s “GUESS Vibras” collection to arrive this Thursday (January 31) in-store and online. Peep a few of the official campaign shots below:
