Not too long ago we got a preview of Travis Scott’s upcoming Air Jordan 33 collaboration, and now Jordan Brand is finally giving us a detailed look at the new colorway that’s rumored to drop in just a few weeks.
Taking on a “Cactus Jack” theme — the name of Trav’s record label he started back in 2017 — this new AJ33 iteration really takes on a cactus-like colorway; “Army Olive,” Sail,” “Ale Brown” and hints of black are all included in the mix. A suede heel counter and strap detailing on the side panel that specifically denotes this as a creation “designed and engineered to the exact specifications of Travis” shows us that these were definitely crafted for stunting purposes primarily. As 2019 already looks like another victory lap year for the ASTROWORLD rapper, who’ll also be hitting the stage during the Super Bowl LIII Halftime show this Sunday, a dope Jordan drop sounds like the perfect way to kick off the second month of the year.
No official word on the release date for the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 33 NRG at the moment, but February 14 and a quickstrike SNKRS drop during Super Bowl Weekend have been potential dates thrown around. Stay tuned!
