420 friendly politicians are known to be supported by the new generation of voters.
So, in a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, presidential contender Kamala Harris admitted that she smoked weed during her college years and even listened to rappers like Tupac and Snoop while she got her study on.
Now, that may sound far-fetched, especially since Pac and Snoop came out on the 90s and Harris graduated from law school in California in 1989.
Harris, a Oakland-born woman with West Indian roots, stated her support for marijuana legalization during her interview and even joked with Charlamagne that she hit the joint in college.
As the former attorney of California, Harris’ views on the legalization of marijuana have slowly altered since her vocal opposition in 2010. Five years and many studies and nationwide discussions later, Harris changed her position to one of support for medical use.
“We need to legalize marijuana and regulate it, and we need to expunge nonviolent marijuana-related offenses from the records of millions of people who have been arrested and incarcerated so they can get on with their lives.”
