Draymond Green is teaming up with LeBron James. Green is switching agents and signing with James’ friend Rich Paul and Klutch Sports.
Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes was the first to report Green’s plans on Friday night. Marcus Thompson of The Athletic cited NBA sources in reporting Saturday that Green already had told his former agent, B.J. Armstrong of Wasserman Media Group, he would be changing representation.
Any time a player signs with Klutch, the rumors of that player potentially teaming up with LeBron start to swirl.

NBA players change agents from time to time, and normally it doesn’t receive much attention. But when Paul’s name is involved, it sets off a firestorm of speculation. Anthony Davis signed with Klutch Sports prior to the 2018-19 season, which spawned the idea that he might eventually try to force his way out of New Orleans and to Los Angeles to team up with James and the Lakers. Depending on which reports you to believe, that’s pretty much exactly what happened.
Green is a free agent in July 2020, so expect the speculations and rumors to start heating up soon. The Warriors are in the midst of their three straight championships. The only thing that can stop the Warriors’ reign, might be the fact individuals would like to get paid. If that is the case, the Warriors would have to consider the Lakers a threat for the three-time All-Star’s services.
