Three men have been taken in custody and indicted in the robbery of Nicki Minaj’s ex and reality TV star Safaree.
Tacuma Ashman, Shawn Harewood, and Carl Harry were all charged with armed robbery in the first degree and unlawful possession in the second degree. They were also charged with a count of resisting arrest because they fled after crashing their car, according to police.
The stick up men were following Safaree for some time prior to the robbery. When Safaree got robbed, he was held at gunpoint with his face down and the men allegedly stole more than $180,000 in cash and jewelry.
They were later captured by police in upper Manhattan. All three men face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the crimes.
