After giving us a colorful collab with last year’s “Order/Disorder” collection, UNDERCOVER and Converse are linking up once again for another footwear offering inspired by the classic 1979 film The Warriors.
The Chuck 70 silhouette is the focus this time around, seen here in two color options that are meant to reflect the opposing sides of “light” (i.e The Warriors gang) and “dark,” which could be inspired by many of the rival gangs in the film but is more than likely a direct nod to the Rogues. Both variations incorporate a canvas upper with interesting details, including metal rings on the heel and toe box and a standout zipper closure on the tongue. As the theme embodies a theme branded as “The New Warriors” on the toe cap, this collab makes a fine argument for why we definitely need a Warriors sequel, prequel or even a properly-executed remake to happen immediately.
